Overview

Dr. Carrazco has been practicing pediatrics for almost 40 years and founded happy kids pediatrics in 1999 with his wife, Eva Carrazco. He is board certified, has served on the board of pediatrics for Chandler regional Hospital and was the director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Saint Mary’s Medical Center and Tri-City Medical center. He completed his medical training at the prestigious Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico. His residency was completed at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Carrazco also specializes in pediatric pulmonology and critical care and completed his training at University of CA, Irvine and Long Beach Memorial Medical Centers in Long Beach, CA.

Dr. Carrazco is extremely passionate and committed to his patients and their health and betterment. He strives to serve the community and it’s individuals by giving them personalized, high-quality care. Dr. Carrazco aims to build relationships with his patients, of all backgrounds, treat, heal, and educate. He has also served as a medical expert on several news outlets including capsula de salud on Univision and Telemundo, as well as on radio shows on La Campesina and Power 98.3. There, he graciously answers callers questions and is also featured to address larger medical concerns, such as outbreaks or common medical emergencies. Dr. Carrazco and his staff at Happy Kids Pediatrics are also frequently involved in health fairs and outreach to educate patients and their parents.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his family, including his children and grandchildren. Dr. Carrazco recently started Feliz Care Centers September of 2018 to serve a more broader community and better satisfy continuity of care for existing patients and also take care of new patients. He also enjoys the occasional motorcycle ride and round of golf.
